"God didn't bless my business, so He must not want me to succeed."
How it sounds in your head: Maybe God wanted me to fail to teach me something. Maybe I wasn't spiritual enough. Other Christian guys' businesses work - what's wrong with me?
"He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?"
-- Romans 8:32Religion: God's blessing is based on your spirituality and He withholds to teach lessons.
The business actually failed while praying about it. This makes it seem like God said no or wasn't listening.
Isaac planted crops during a famine (worst possible business timing) and reaped a hundredfold the same year because the Lord blessed him. His success had nothing to do with market conditions and everything to do with covenant blessing.
I REFUSE the lie that God withheld blessing from my business. IT IS WRITTEN that He who gave His own Son will freely give me all things - if He gave me Jesus, He's not withholding success. My business outcome doesn't measure His favor; His favor is proven by the cross. IT IS WRITTEN that I have the blessing of Abraham by covenant - blessed in the city, blessed in the field, blessed in my storehouse. Isaac planted in a famine and reaped a hundredfold because of covenant, not conditions. My next venture is blessed because HE blessed me, period. Success is coming because the barak is on my life.
The Father didn't kill your business to teach you - He's preparing you for greater. Like the prodigal's father who had the fattened calf ready before the son came home, your breakthrough is already prepared.
