"God could have healed me but didn't. My body's failures prove I lack faith or His favor."
How it sounds in your head: You prayed for healing for decades. Others got miracles—you got prescriptions. Maybe you didn't believe hard enough. Maybe there's hidden sin. Maybe you're just not one of His favorites.
"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed."
-- Isaiah 53:5Religious lie making healing about YOUR performance instead of HIS finished work, turning Jesus into a vending machine instead of a Father.
You've watched younger believers get healed while you still hurt. The silence feels like rejection, and religion taught you that unanswered prayer means something is wrong with YOU.
Blind from BIRTH—disciples assumed sin caused it. Jesus said NO—'that the works of God should be revealed in him.' Blindness wasn't punishment; it was setup for GLORY, healed instantly with mud and spit.
I REFUSE the lie that my body's condition reflects God's opinion of me. IT IS WRITTEN that by His stripes I AM healed—finished work, not future hope dependent on my performance. This body groans, but my spirit is ALIVE and seated in victory. IT IS WRITTEN that there is NO condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. I am the righteousness of God in Him, the BARAK blessing is mine by covenant, and whether healing manifests today or in the resurrection, my IDENTITY is whole, holy, beloved. The Father RAN to the prodigal covered in pig filth—He's not withholding because I lack anything.
The Father isn't waiting for you to muster more faith. He's already running toward you with the robe, ring, and sandals—healing is in HIS nature, and whether it manifests now or in glory, you are NEVER condemned for the wait.
