"God allowed this demonic attack to humble me or teach me something before I die."
How it sounds in your head: Perhaps this is His final sanctification process. Maybe He's burning away remaining pride or testing my faith one last time. I should submit to this spiritual suffering as His will.
"He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil."
-- 1 John 3:8Religious teaching that God authors suffering for character development makes her accept demonic torment as divine pedagogy instead of resisting it as an enemy attack.
Lifetime of sermons about God's 'mysterious ways' and suffering producing perseverance trained her to interpret all pain as God's tool. She fears resisting might mean resisting God's purpose.
After Satan attacked Job (NOT God), the Lord turned his captivity and gave him TWICE as much as before. God's response to demonic attack wasn't 'learn from this'—it was RESTORATION and DOUBLE. The attack came from the enemy; the blessing came from God.
I REFUSE the lie that God authors demonic attack for my growth. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus was manifested to DESTROY the works of the devil, not use them. God is not in partnership with demons. This attack is from the enemy and I have authority to resist it. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus healed ALL oppressed by the devil because God was WITH Him. My Father doesn't torment His daughter in her final days—He comforts, protects, and delivers. I resist this attack in Jesus' name and it must flee.
The Father isn't sending demons to sanctify you—He's weeping with you in this battle, placing His hand on your head saying 'This isn't from Me, beloved. I came to destroy this. Resist the enemy and he will flee. I'm here to give you PEACE, not torment.'
