"God allowed this addiction to teach me something I needed to learn"
How it sounds in your head: Maybe God let me get addicted because I was too proud or needed to learn dependence. The pastor said God uses everything to teach us, so maybe this suffering has a purpose I need to figure out before He'll free me.

She hears 'God works all things for good' twisted into 'God causes all things for lessons,' plus testimonies thank God for the addiction journey. She mistakes redemptive use of enemy's attack for divine intent, not realizing thief comes to steal, kill, destroy - not to educate.
Lost everything - children, wealth, health - and religious friends said God was teaching him through suffering. God was FURIOUS at those friends, called their theology lies, and gave Job DOUBLE everything back - God restored what the ENEMY stole, didn't cause it for lessons.
I REFUSE the lie that God authored this addiction to teach me. IT IS WRITTEN the THIEF comes to steal, kill, destroy, but JESUS came to give abundant LIFE. God didn't give me addiction - the ENEMY did, and Jesus came to destroy it. IT IS WRITTEN every good and perfect gift comes from the Father of lights with whom there is no shadow of turning - addiction is NOT a good gift. Job's friends said suffering was from God for lessons and God was FURIOUS, called it lies. I receive abundant LIFE, not divine addiction lessons.
The Father didn't orchestrate your addiction as a classroom - He's furious at the thief who brought it and sent Jesus to obliterate every chain RIGHT NOW. He's not waiting for you to learn the right lesson; He's already paid for complete freedom.
