You've seen genuine abuse—money-grabbing preachers, fake testimonies, people pushed over and called healed. Those experiences made you protective and skeptical of anything supernatural, preferring rational faith.
Philip (not an apostle, just a deacon) preached Christ in Samaria, and unclean spirits came out screaming, paralytics and lame were healed. The WHOLE CITY had great joy—not manipulation, not fake, but genuine transforming power that changed an entire region IMMEDIATELY.
I REFUSE the lie that all healing ministry is fake because some abuse it. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus warned about false workers, but He didn't say miracles aren't real—He said discern the PEOPLE. Counterfeits prove the genuine exists; Satan doesn't counterfeit what isn't real. IT IS WRITTEN in 1 John 4:1 - 'Test the spirits'—I test, but I don't reject God's power because of human abuse. Jesus healed ALL who came to Him; that's not manipulation, that's His NATURE. I am under the BARAK blessing where God's power operated even when people failed—the power is real regardless of human faults. I am a branch connected to the Vine, and I receive genuine healing from the true Source, discerning fruit without cynicism that blocks God's goodness.
The Father isn't asking you to naively accept every claim, but He's inviting you to not let wounded cynicism keep you from HIS genuine goodness. He's running toward you with real healing, not emotional manipulation—His love is authentic, His power is real, and His heart toward you is pure.
