"Everyone would be better off if I wasn't here."
How it sounds in your head: I feel like a burden on everyone—my family, my friends, my workplace. I cost more than I contribute. They're just too nice to say it, but I see the relief in their eyes when I leave.
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."
-- Jeremiah 29:11Demonic assignment of premature death and suicide, trying to remove you before you step into your destiny.
Depression lies loudest when you're isolated, and isolation makes you interpret normal interactions as rejection. The enemy knows if he can convince you you're a burden, he can remove you from the battlefield entirely.
Sat under a tree begging God to let him die, saying he was worthless and alone. Angel woke him up, fed him supernatural food, and launched him into a 40-day journey to his next assignment—God had 7,000 others and more work for Elijah.
I REFUSE the lie that anyone would be better off without me. IT IS WRITTEN that God's thoughts toward me are of peace, future, and hope—not removal or erasure. I am not a burden; I am a blessing carrier. My presence matters because HIS presence is in me. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed in the city and in the field, and people are better because I'm in the room. Hell wants me silent and removed because Heaven has assignments attached to my life that require me HERE.
The Father isn't tolerating your existence—He's celebrating it. He has an angel ready to feed you supernatural bread for the next leg of a journey you think is over but is actually just beginning.
