"Everyone good is already taken and I'm getting the leftovers."
How it sounds in your head: You watch the best girls date the confident guys. By the time you're ready, you figure you'll be stuck with whoever's left. It feels like showing up to a buffet after everyone else ate—cold food and empty trays.
"And he said to him, 'Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!'"
-- John 2:10Scarcity mindset from the world that says God's blessings run out and you're too late.
You see the pattern around you. The attractive, fun, godly people pair off young. You're convinced you missed the window and now it's damaged goods or nothing.
Ruth was a widowed FOREIGNER who married Boaz later in life. Boaz literally said 'you didn't go after young men, whether poor or rich.' She didn't get leftovers—she got a KINSMAN REDEEMER who bought back everything she lost, and she ended up in Jesus' bloodline.
I REFUSE the lie that good people run out and I'm stuck with leftovers. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus keeps the good wine until NOW—until MY now. God doesn't operate a clearance sale where quality diminishes over time. The BARAK blessing doesn't decrease; Abraham got RICHER the older he got, and Isaac married at forty to the exact woman God assigned. IT IS WRITTEN that God withholds no good thing from those who walk uprightly, which means my 'good thing' isn't taken—it's being PREPARED. I'm not getting leftovers; I'm getting what was custom-designed for me before the foundation of the world.
Father has been preparing something SO GOOD for you that early release would've been premature. He's not making you wait because the good ones are gone—He's making you wait because yours is still being perfected.
