"Everyone eventually shows their true colors and it's always ugly."
How it sounds in your head: You've lived long enough to see the pattern. The mentor who became jealous. The business partner who chose money over integrity. The friend who disappeared when you needed them. Even people in church. You're not cynical—you're experienced. Expecting betrayal isn't pessimism, it's realism.
"Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
-- 1 Corinthians 13:7Trauma teaching—pain creating false prophecy over future relationships.
Six decades of data supports it. You've got receipts, patterns, documented betrayals across multiple relationships. The younger crowd calls it trust issues; you call it pattern recognition. Why would the next person be different when the last ten weren't?
Jonathan could've believed 'everyone chooses power over friendship' when his father Saul tried to kill David. Instead, he risked his LIFE to protect David, made covenant with him, and stayed loyal when it cost him the throne. That friendship became legendary—proving covenant relationships exist even in corrupt systems.
I REFUSE the lie that everyone's true colors are betrayal. IT IS WRITTEN that love believes all things and hopes all things—and that love is CHRIST IN ME. I am NOT a victim of human patterns—I'm a carrier of divine covenant. The Father is surrounding me RIGHT NOW with Jonathans who choose loyalty over convenience. IT IS WRITTEN in Psalm 84:11 that no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. I walk in His righteousness as a GIFT, and faithful friendships are good things He's releasing. The barak blessing means I'm favored in relationships, protected from toxic people, and attracted to those who reflect Heaven's heart.
The Father isn't asking you to lower your standards or ignore red flags—He's raising you into a dimension where covenant people recognize each other instantly. He's already assigned you friendships that will rewrite your definition of loyalty, and they're closer than you think.
