"Every time I make progress, the enemy knocks me back down"
How it sounds in your head: I'll have a good week then crash hard. I start feeling strong then get blindsided. It's like Satan waits for me to let my guard down then attacks. I can't sustain victory.
"No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord."
-- Isaiah 54:17Enemy creating narrative that victory is temporary and dependent on vigilance instead of covenant.
The cycle of progress and relapse feels like proof of enemy power. When victories don't stick, it seems like he's losing ground daily.
Job lost everything—children dead, wealth gone, body covered in boils, wife told him to curse God and die. After the trial, God restored DOUBLE what was lost—twice the livestock, ten more children, 140 more years. What the enemy meant for destruction became doubled blessing.
I REFUSE the lie that the enemy can knock me back. IT IS WRITTEN that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. Zero weapons succeed. My righteousness is from God, not from my sustained effort. IT IS WRITTEN that He who began a good work in me will complete it. I am not building something fragile that Satan can destroy—God is building something unstoppable. Every setback is temporary. Every victory in Christ is permanent. The blessing of Abraham means I end up with MORE than I started. I am the head and not the tail. My trajectory is upward only.
The Father isn't watching you lose progress—He's authoring a story where every attack ends with you having more than before. You're not on a treadmill; you're on a rocket.
