"By your age, you should have everything figured out. You're falling behind your peers who have clear plans."
How it sounds in your head: Everyone asks what college you're going to, what major, what career, and you don't have confident answers. Your friends seem to know exactly what they're doing. You feel paralyzed by the pressure to pick right.
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."

College applications demand certainty you don't feel, and social media shows everyone else seeming confident and successful. Parents and teachers act like not having a plan means you're failing.
Joseph had dreams at 17 but had NO IDEA the path would include slavery and prison before the palace. He didn't need the full plan—just trust in the dream, and God brought it to pass in ways Joseph couldn't have engineered.
I REFUSE the lie that I should have my entire future mapped out at 17. IT IS WRITTEN that God directs my paths as I acknowledge Him, not as I create five-year plans in my own understanding. My Father knows the plans He has for me—plans for good and not evil, to give me a future and a hope. IT IS WRITTEN that He who began a good work in me will complete it, and He doesn't need my perfect roadmap to do it. I am under the BARAK blessing where God commanded blessing on everything I set my hand to—which means I can't miss my destiny by picking the wrong major. I walk in the wisdom of God that surpasses human planning.
Your Father is not stressed about your future—He already prepared good works for you to walk in before you were born. He's not watching you scramble; He's guiding each step as you simply stay connected to Him.
