"You've used up your chances. God gave you opportunities and you wasted them."
How it sounds in your head: You can list every open door you didn't walk through, every dream you abandoned for practicality, every time you chose fear over faith. Those ships have sailed. God's moved on to people who'll actually obey.
"Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness."
-- Lamentations 3:22-23Religious lie that God's grace has limits and opportunities expire based on past performance.
The regrets are specific and dated. You remember the exact moments you said no. Years have passed. Those doors are closed. Younger people are walking through opportunities you let slip by.
Jonah directly disobeyed God's command, ran the opposite direction, got swallowed by a fish, and sat in rebellion. God's response? 'Now the word of the Lord came to Jonah a SECOND time'—immediate do-over, no punishment process.
I REFUSE the lie that I've used up my chances. IT IS WRITTEN that His compassions are NEW EVERY MORNING—not leftover, not diminished, but NEW. God gave Jonah a second chance IMMEDIATELY after massive disobedience. He gave Peter breakfast and destiny after triple denial. IT IS WRITTEN that He who began a good work in me will complete it (Phil 1:6). My past 'no' doesn't cancel His present 'yes'. The BARAK blessing doesn't expire with missed opportunities. God is releasing NEW assignments NOW.
The Father isn't keeping score of opportunities you missed—He's running toward you like He did the prodigal, with NEW robes, NEW rings, NEW assignments. While you're rehearsing regrets, He's releasing do-overs and suddenly moments.
