Too Late
"You're too old now—God won't start something new at your age."

How it sounds in your head: You're in your nineties. Even if God did something, you wouldn't live long enough to see it through. Your productive years are gone. You're just waiting to die now.

Genesis 17:17

"Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said in his heart, 'Shall a child be born to a man who is one hundred years old? And shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a child?'"

-- Genesis 17:17
Enemy whispers: 'You're too old for God to use you.' BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Genesis 17:17—Abraham was 100 and Sarah 90 when God gave them Isaac, the child of promise. God SPECIALIZES in doing the impossible at impossible ages. Your age isn't a barrier—it's the PERFECT setup for God to show His power. The Father who gave a 100-year-old man a nation is the same Father who has plans for YOU today.
Quick Truth: LIE: Too old for God's plans. TRUTH: Abraham birthed a nation at 100—your age is God's opportunity (Gen 21:5)

Enemy lie that God's promises have expiration dates and age disqualifies you from His purposes.

Why this feels true:

Your body is failing, friends are dying, and the world says retirement means irrelevance. Every mirror and medical report screams that your time has passed.

Genesis 21:5
Abraham

Abraham was 100 years old when Isaac was born—the son who became the father of nations. God's greatest promise to him was fulfilled when he was literally ancient, proving age means NOTHING to God's timeline.

Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that I'm too old for God's purposes. IT IS WRITTEN that Abraham was 100 when God's promise came to pass, and God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. My age is not a disqualification—it's a stage perfectly set for God's glory. IT IS WRITTEN that even to my old age He is the same, and even to gray hairs He will carry me. I am Abraham's seed through Christ, and the BARAK blessing of Abraham is mine RIGHT NOW by covenant, not by age. God is not finished with me—He's been PREPARING me for this moment.

But God actually:

The Father sees you and is running toward you with purposes that don't require decades to fulfill. He gave Abraham a nation at 100—what makes you think He can't do something MASSIVE in whatever time you have left?

Speak This Out Loud
