"Your opinions don't matter. Nobody cares what you think."
How it sounds in your head: Every time you share an idea in class or with friends, it gets ignored or dismissed. You've learned to just stay quiet because speaking up is embarrassing. Your voice doesn't carry weight.
"Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, 'This is the way, walk in it,' whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left."
-- Isaiah 30:21Enemy assignment to silence the prophetic voice, reinforced by dismissive authority figures and peer rejection.
People literally talk over you. Your texts get left on read. When you finally speak up, the conversation just...continues like you didn't say anything.
God opened a donkey's mouth to speak truth to a prophet who wasn't listening. If God will use a donkey to get His word out, He'll absolutely use you—your voice carries what HE puts in it, regardless of who's listening.
I REFUSE the lie that my voice doesn't matter. IT IS WRITTEN that God speaks TO me, that His sheep hear His voice. If the Creator speaks to me, I carry words that MATTER. IT IS WRITTEN that out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants God has ordained STRENGTH. Age doesn't disqualify me, insecurity doesn't silence me. The BARAK blessing means what I speak carries COVENANT WEIGHT. God used a donkey to speak truth—He'll use me. My voice is not my own—it's a TRUMPET for heaven.
The Father is leaning in to hear you, not waiting for you to be more articulate. He gave MOSES a stutter and made him spokesman for a nation. Your voice matters because HE'S listening.
