"I'm just a kid—what I do now doesn't count, doesn't matter until I'm older."
How it sounds in your head: Adults say 'wait until you grow up' or 'you'll understand when you're older.' Your ideas get dismissed with 'you're too young.' Real life starts later. Right now is just... waiting.
"Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity."
-- 1 Timothy 4:12Religion—age-based hierarchy dismisses young voices; world—youth seen as 'not yet' instead of 'right now.'
Can't vote. Can't drive. Can't make real decisions. Adults make choices FOR you. 'When you're 18...' becomes the answer to everything.
David was a TEENAGER—Saul said 'you're just a YOUTH; Goliath's been a warrior since his youth.' David killed the giant the SAME DAY, saved Israel, and became king. Teenage obedience changed a nation.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm just a kid and what I do now doesn't matter. IT IS WRITTEN: Let NO ONE despise my youth—I am called to be an EXAMPLE NOW, not later. IT IS WRITTEN to remember my Creator in the days of my YOUTH. My age is not disqualification—it's ASSIGNMENT. What I do today counts for ETERNITY. I don't have to wait to make an impact. I walk in the BARAK blessing NOW—blessed as a young man, anointed for THIS season, carrying breakthrough the older generation needs to SEE.
The Father doesn't have a 'wait until you're 18' policy. He's calling you NOW, using you NOW, and celebrating obedience that doesn't wait for permission.
