"I'm just a burden now—I have nothing left to contribute to anyone."
How it sounds in your head: You used to serve, host, teach, help. Now you need help with everything. Your kids rearrange their lives for your doctor appointments. You're just taking up space and resources. Everyone would be relieved when you're gone.
"Even to your old age, I am He, and even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you."

I REFUSE the lie that my value expired with my independence. IT IS WRITTEN that even to gray hairs, God Himself carries me—I am not a burden to Him but His DELIGHT. My worth was never in my productivity but in His image stamped on me before I took my first breath. IT IS WRITTEN in Galatians 3:29 that I am Abraham's seed, HEIR according to promise—the BARAK blessing is mine by covenant, not capability. I am BLESSED coming in and going out, whether I walk in or am wheeled in. I declare I carry the presence of God into every room, every conversation, every moment—and THAT is my contribution. My existence is my ministry now, and it is ENOUGH.
The Father isn't checking His watch waiting for you to become useful again—He's sitting beside your bed treasuring every breath you take. Like the prodigal's father who had been watching for his return, your Father has been PREPARING for this season, and He calls it GOOD.
