THE LIE Too Late

"Your health issues prove God's favor has lifted. You're being judged for past sins."

How it sounds in your head: The diabetes. The heart medication. The prostate cancer screening. You wonder if God is paying you back for the affair in your 40s, the drinking years, the anger you couldn't control. Every doctor visit feels like evidence of divine punishment.

IT IS WRITTEN Isaiah 53:5

"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed."

Enemy whispers: Your sickness is punishment. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Isaiah 53:5 - He was wounded for YOUR transgressions. The chastisement fell on HIM, not you. By HIS stripes you ARE healed—past tense, finished work. IT IS WRITTEN there is NO condemnation for those in Christ (Romans 8:1). Jesus took your judgment. Every stripe. Every curse. Sickness is NOT God's payback.

Quick Truth: LIE: Sickness is judgment. TRUTH: By His stripes you ARE healed (Isa 53:5). No condemnation in Christ.

She'd been bleeding and spending everything on doctors for twelve years—ceremonially unclean, untouchable, isolated. One touch of Jesus' garment and she was IMMEDIATELY healed. He called her 'Daughter' and sent her in peace, no questions about what caused it.

YOUR CONFESSION Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that my health issues are punishment. IT IS WRITTEN that by His stripes I AM healed (Isaiah 53:5). Christ redeemed me from the CURSE of the law (Galatians 3:13), and sickness is listed in Deuteronomy 28 curses, not blessings. IT IS WRITTEN there is NO condemnation for me in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). My past is under the blood. The BARAK blessing includes health. I am Abraham's seed, and healing is my covenant right, not something I earn by sinlessness.
