"Your body is failing. God can't use a broken vessel."
How it sounds in your head: You need help to dress. Pills to sleep. Someone to drive you. How can God use a man who can't control his own bladder? Weakness is humiliating, not holy. You're a burden now, not a blessing.
"And He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
-- 2 Corinthians 12:9Religious lie that equates physical strength with spiritual authority, from Greek thinking not Hebrew covenant.
Every dependency screams it. Every nurse who helps you. Every task you can no longer do alone. The enemy uses your walker as evidence God is done with you.
Jacob at death's door, so weak he couldn't sit up without help, prophesied over his grandsons with such power that his words shaped nations for millennia. His greatest prophetic moment came from a deathbed, and he blessed with CROSSED HANDS, overriding the natural order by supernatural authority.
I REFUSE the lie that my failing body limits God's power. IT IS WRITTEN that His strength is made PERFECT in my weakness, which means I am MORE qualified now than when I was strong. My identity is not in what my body can do but in Christ who dwells in me. IT IS WRITTEN that Jacob prophesied from his deathbed and his words still stand. The BARAK blessing doesn't require physical strength - it protected Abraham when he lied, Isaac when he was blind, Jacob when he limped. I am blessed coming in and going out, in strength or weakness, because I am IN CHRIST.
The Father sees your weakness as the perfect canvas to paint His strength. Like Jacob leaning on his staff, your dependencies position you to release blessing that strong men miss. He's not waiting for you to get stronger - He's moving NOW.
