"Young people don't respect or listen to anyone my age"
How it sounds in your head: They scroll past anyone over 25. They dismiss 'OK Boomer' anyone who sounds remotely traditional. They want peers, not guides. Why would they listen to me when they have influencers?
"And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse."
-- Malachi 4:6Enemy lie that generational rebellion nullifies spiritual authority and relational connection
Social media mocks anyone out of touch. Youth culture celebrates rebellion against 'old ways.' He watches young people dismiss wisdom because of delivery style or age. The cultural narrative is that every older generation is irrelevant to the next.
Paul called Timothy his son in the faith - a cross-generational relationship that produced massive Kingdom impact. Timothy didn't dismiss Paul as outdated; Paul didn't dismiss Timothy as inexperienced. Their partnership was instant mutual honor that changed nations.
I REFUSE the lie that young people won't listen to me. IT IS WRITTEN that God will turn the hearts of children to fathers and fathers to children - divine orchestration trumps cultural rebellion. I am not begging for attention or competing with influencers; I am walking in spiritual authority that younger generations are hungry for. IT IS WRITTEN that there is no condemnation in Christ - which means I don't accept condemnation for my age, my style, or my delivery. I declare that the right young people are drawn to what I carry, divine appointments create mentorship moments, and generational honor flows both directions. I speak life, and those with ears to hear WILL hear.
The Father isn't wringing His hands over generational disconnection - He's actively turning hearts toward each other. Like He connected Paul and Timothy across age gaps, He's orchestrating divine relationships where your wisdom meets their hunger, and both flourish.
