"This nerve damage is irreversible—even God works within natural laws of the body."
How it sounds in your head: The doctors showed me the scans. The nerves are damaged beyond repair. Even if I believe in healing, God doesn't usually override biology. Miracles like that are rare, and I shouldn't expect special treatment.
"Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?"
-- Jeremiah 32:27Enlightenment rationalism that limits God to natural processes, making medical science the boundary of His power.
Medical imaging provides visible 'proof' of damage. When surrounded by a church culture that believes God mostly works through doctors, expecting supernatural intervention feels presumptuous or greedy.
Peter cut off his ear completely—not damaged nerves but SEVERED, gone. Jesus didn't say 'Well, that's irreversible'—He TOUCHED him and healed him, instantly reattaching what was completely cut off, nerves and all, fully functional.
I REFUSE the lie that medical 'irreversible' limits God. IT IS WRITTEN: Is there ANYTHING too hard for the LORD? The answer is NO. He created my nervous system from nothing in my mother's womb; He can recreate what is damaged RIGHT NOW. IT IS WRITTEN in Job 10:11 that He clothed me with skin and flesh and knit me together with bones and sinews—He is intimately familiar with every nerve pathway in my body. The same power that grew me from a single cell can regenerate what doctors call irreparable. I am under the BARAK blessing, and in Christ ALL things are possible. My body, HEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD: BE RESTORED.
The Father isn't confined to natural processes—He AUTHORED them and supersedes them whenever He chooses. While medical science says 'irreversible,' He says 'watch Me create what they said was impossible.'
