"They have generous kids helping them; mine can't afford to help me."
How it sounds in your head: You hear about families rallying, kids covering parents' expenses, financial safety nets. Your kids are stretched thin, you can't ask, you won't be a burden. Their kids send checks; yours send apologies. You're alone in this financial valley at the end.
"I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread."
-- Psalm 37:25Enemy isolating through comparison of family provision, obscuring God as ultimate Provider.
You see the help others receive from adult children, the financial support that flows. Your kids mean well but have their own struggles. The contrast is painful and undeniable.
During severe famine when everyone was desperate, God commanded RAVENS to bring Elijah bread and meat twice daily. No human provision network, no family helping - supernatural provision when conventional sources dried up completely.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm alone because my kids can't help financially. IT IS WRITTEN that the righteous are NEVER forsaken, and I AM the righteousness of God in Christ. My provision flows from MY GOD, not my children's ability. Elijah was fed by ravens when humans couldn't help. IT IS WRITTEN that God commands the blessing on my storehouses. The BARAK blessing is on me and my descendants - we are ALL covered by covenant, not by their budgets. I declare supernatural provision at ninety-plus that doesn't depend on family finances. God is my Provider, not my kids.
Father isn't waiting for your kids to step up before He moves - He's already commanding ravens, preparing fish with coins, orchestrating provision you can't see yet. You are His beloved son at ninety, and He's RUNNING toward you with supply.
