"These nightmares and night terrors mean I'm under demonic attack I can't stop."
How it sounds in your head: Every night, horrific nightmares. I wake up terrified, feeling a presence in my room. I'm 77 and shouldn't be scared of the dark like a child, but I am. I've prayed, but they keep coming. I must be defenseless against this.
"You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day."

The nightmares feel supernatural and targeted, attacking when she's most vulnerable. Her inability to stop them while sleeping makes her feel like a passive victim with no authority during night hours.
Jacob fell asleep on a rock in the wilderness, vulnerable and alone. Instead of night terror, God gave him an open heaven dream. He woke saying, 'Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it' - God was protecting him even while unconscious.
I REFUSE the lie that I am defenseless against night terrors and demonic attack while I sleep. IT IS WRITTEN that I shall not be afraid of the terror by night. I plead the blood of Jesus over my mind, my sleep, my bedroom, and my dreams. No weapon formed against me shall prosper - not even at night. IT IS WRITTEN that He who keeps me neither slumbers nor sleeps, so I AM COVERED in unconscious hours. I command peace in my sleep in Jesus' name. I will lie down and sleep in peace, for God alone makes me dwell in safety.
The Father isn't leaving you defenseless at night - His protection doesn't clock out when you sleep. He's running toward you with the truth that His blood covers you 24/7, and the One who watches you never blinks, never sleeps, never stops guarding.
