"There's something broken in me that makes me unlovable. That's why I'm still single."
How it sounds in your head: Maybe there's something fundamentally wrong with me that I can't see but everyone else can. Some internal defect that makes me not worthy of being chosen. Like I'm damaged goods and everyone knows it but me.
"I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well."
-- Psalm 139:14Enemy using past wounds, rejection experiences, or family dysfunction to create identity lies.
Past rejections or family issues can create deep beliefs that 'something is wrong with me.' Bullying or social exclusion reinforces the lie that you're fundamentally flawed.
Mephibosheth was crippled in both feet, hiding in obscurity, calling himself a 'dead dog.' King David searched for him and instantly restored him to the king's table permanently, giving him all of Saul's land - not because of what he could offer, but because of COVENANT with his father Jonathan.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm broken, defective, or unlovable. IT IS WRITTEN that I am fearfully and wonderfully made - a marvelous work of God who makes no mistakes. Past rejections do not define my worth; Christ's acceptance does. Any damage from this broken world is covered by His blood and His complete acceptance of me. IT IS WRITTEN that there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. I am Abraham's seed, covered by the BARAK blessing that declares me chosen, accepted, and deeply loved. I declare divine healing over past wounds, supernatural confidence in my identity, and the Father's delight over me.
The Father looks at you and sees nothing broken that needs fixing before He loves you - He sees His beloved son, purchased at the highest price, worthy of every good thing. Like the prodigal covered in pig stench, He runs toward you NOW, not after you clean up.
