"Their success proves they're doing something right that I'm doing wrong."
How it sounds in your head: They got the promotion, so they must be working smarter. They're in shape, so they must have more discipline. They're married, so they must be more emotionally healthy. If you were doing it right, you'd have results like theirs. Figure out what they know that you don't.
"Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh?"
-- Galatians 3:3Performance-based religion that equates external results with internal righteousness or hidden formulas for success.
Results don't lie - they have what you want, so logically they must be doing something you're not. Every success book and podcast says there's a formula, a system, a secret. You just haven't cracked the code yet.
Bartimaeus was a blind beggar with no success story, no platform, no credentials - just desperation and faith. Jesus healed him IMMEDIATELY, and he didn't have to figure out what successful people were doing right - he just had to encounter Jesus.
I REFUSE the lie that their success reveals my failure or proves they have a formula I'm missing. IT IS WRITTEN that having begun in the Spirit, I'm not perfected by the flesh - I don't need their system, I need ABIDING in the Vine. Results don't equal righteousness. IT IS WRITTEN that I am the righteousness of God IN CHRIST - not because of metrics, but because of POSITION. I stand in the BARAK covenant that blessed Jacob the DECEIVER and Abraham the LIAR. My blessing isn't based on cracking a code - it's based on COVENANT. My suddenly comes from connection, not competition.
The Father isn't waiting for you to reverse-engineer someone else's success formula. He's running toward you with breakthrough that has NOTHING to do with their strategy - your provision flows from ABIDING, not analyzing.
