"The world is collapsing so building a future for my family is pointless"
How it sounds in your head: Why save for kids' college when society might not exist? Why buy a house when everything could fall apart? Every news cycle proves I should just bunker down and wait for the rapture instead of actually building anything.
"Build houses and dwell in them; plant gardens and eat their fruit. Take wives and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons and give your daughters to husbands, so that they may bear sons and daughters—that you may be increased there, and not diminished."
-- Jeremiah 29:5-6Enemy uses media hysteria and end-times obsession to paralyze men from stewarding their dominion calling.
Every scroll shows civilization crumbling—economics, morality, geopolitics. He feels irresponsible planning long-term when prophecy teachers say we're in the last seconds, so paralysis feels like wisdom.
Captive in Babylon under enemy rule, false prophets saying quick return, but God said BUILD HOUSES and PLANT GARDENS there—70-year vision in enemy territory. They built so well that Babylon became prosperous through their blessing, and their children's children inherited wealth in exile.
I REFUSE the lie that the future is too dark to build. IT IS WRITTEN that even in Babylon, God's people were commanded to build houses, plant gardens, and multiply—not retreat. I am Abraham's seed, heir according to promise, carrier of the BARAK blessing that caused Isaac to sow in famine and reap a hundredfold the same year. IT IS WRITTEN in Genesis 26:12 that Isaac planted in the middle of famine and became rich. Collapse around me does not dictate my assignment. I build businesses, invest in my children's future, plant generational seeds, because the Kingdom advances when Babylon thinks it's winning. My Father runs toward me with blueprints, not bunker plans.
Your Father isn't pacing heaven worried about elections or economies—He's handing you BUILDING PERMITS for the future. While the older brother hoards supplies and obsesses over prophecy charts, the Father throws you the keys to houses you didn't build and vineyards you didn't plant, whispering, 'Build big, son—your children's children will inherit this.'
