"The stock market crash took my future and God let it happen."
How it sounds in your head: You prayed before you invested. You asked God for wisdom. And He watched silently as the market crashed and your future evaporated. Where was He? Either He doesn't care or He's punishing you.
"The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, says the LORD of hosts."
-- Haggai 2:8Religion teaches God controls the stock market like a puppet master and if you lost money, He either caused it or allowed it as judgment.
You actually prayed, the market actually crashed, and God actually didn't stop it. The silence during your loss feels like abandonment or punishment, and the financial pain is crushing.
Trapped between Pharaoh's army and the sea with no escape, no weapons, no strategy, watching certain death approach. God said 'stand still and SEE the salvation of the LORD'—the sea opened, they walked through, enemies drowned, and they didn't lift a finger.
I REFUSE the lie that the market controls my future or that God abandoned me to financial loss. IT IS WRITTEN in Haggai 2:8 that the silver and gold belong to the LORD—my provision was never in a portfolio, it was always in HIM. I am not subject to market forces; I am subject to covenant promises. IT IS WRITTEN that He supplies ALL my need according to HIS riches, not according to economic conditions. I am blessed in my storehouses, blessed coming in and going out, the head and not the tail. The BARAK blessing on Abraham's seed doesn't rise and fall with the Dow Jones. The Father who fed 5,000 from one lunch and turned water to wine doesn't need bull markets to provide for me.
The Father doesn't watch ticker symbols to decide if He can afford to bless you today. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and if markets disappeared tomorrow, His ability to provide for you wouldn't decrease by a single penny—He's that unaffected by human economic systems.
