"The enemy is winning the battle for my health and my family."
How it sounds in your head: I watch my body break down and see my grandchildren drifting from faith. The cancer diagnosis, the aches, the funerals—it feels like darkness is winning. Every doctor visit confirms the enemy has the upper hand in my body.
"Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it."
-- Colossians 2:15Source: enemy—using physical decline and generational fear to blind you to covenant victory already secured.
At this age, you attend more funerals than weddings, and your body reminds you daily of its limitations. The visible decline feels like proof the enemy has momentum.
Jehoshaphat faced three armies—hopelessly outnumbered, certain annihilation ahead. He didn't fight; he WORSHIPED, and God made the enemies destroy each other while Israel collected spoils for three days—instant, total, effortless victory.
I REFUSE the lie that the enemy is winning. IT IS WRITTEN: Colossians 2:15—Jesus disarmed principalities and powers, making a public spectacle of them. The battle is FINISHED. I am not fighting for victory; I am standing IN victory. The enemy has no legal right, no authority, no weapon against me. IT IS WRITTEN: 1 John 4:4—greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. I walk in the BARAK blessing of Abraham—protected, favored, victorious—not by my strength but by covenant blood. The victory is MINE because I am IN CHRIST.
The Father isn't watching you struggle and hoping you'll win—He ALREADY won and seated you with Christ in heavenly places, far above all principalities and powers. He's running toward you with the victory robe, celebrating the triumph that was finished at the cross before you were born.
