"The enemy is too strong for me to fight alone"
How it sounds in your head: You feel it—the darkness, the oppression, the attacks on your mind. It's bigger than you. You've tried to push back and it just gets worse. Maybe some people can fight this, but you're outmatched. This enemy has been doing this for millennia; you're just a guy in your fifties trying to survive. You're in over your head.
"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world."
-- 1 John 4:4Enemy magnifies his power while hiding the truth that he's already defeated—a classic military tactic to demoralize through fear of superior force
The spiritual attacks feel overwhelming and you can't see the enemy, which makes him seem larger than life. After decades of feeling spiritually impotent, you've internalized the belief that you're just not equipped for this level of warfare.
Gideon faced 135,000 Midianites with just 300 men—but God said 'the people are STILL too many' because He wanted zero doubt about who won. They broke jars, blew trumpets, and watched the entire enemy army turn on itself—Gideon's men didn't even fight, just stood there while God did everything.
I REFUSE the lie that the enemy is too strong. IT IS WRITTEN that greater is HE who is in me than he who is in the world—not equal, GREATER. The enemy was defeated at the cross, disarmed, stripped of authority, made a public spectacle. I am not fighting FOR victory; I am fighting FROM victory. IT IS WRITTEN that I overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved me. I am a carrier of the BARAK blessing—the same covenant protection that made armies flee before Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I stand in the authority of the GREATER ONE who lives in me.
The Father isn't asking you to get stronger to face the enemy—He's asking you to realize the enemy is facing HIM through you. The battle isn't yours; it's His, and He already won it before you were born.
