"The devil has too much influence over my mind and body"
How it sounds in your head: My thoughts are corrupted. My body betrays me with urges I hate. Satan has wired my brain through what I've seen and I can't undo it. I'm damaged goods.
"Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."
-- 1 Corinthians 6:19-20Enemy claiming ownership of what belongs to God—the believer's body and mind as temple.
Neural pathways from porn feel permanent. Intrusive thoughts feel uncontrollable. Biological responses to temptation feel like proof of corruption.
A man so demonized he lived naked in tombs, cutting himself, breaking chains, screaming day and night—2,000 demons. Jesus spoke one sentence and instantly the man was clothed, in his right mind, sitting calmly. Total mental restoration in seconds.
I REFUSE the lie that Satan has influence over my body or mind. IT IS WRITTEN that my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and I was bought at a price. I belong to God, not the enemy. IT IS WRITTEN that I have the mind of Christ. My thoughts are being renewed. My body is holy ground because the Spirit lives in me. No demon has authority here. No urge defines me. I am not corrupted—I am sanctified, set apart, indwelt by Omnipotence. The blessing of Abraham protects even my thought life. I am the head and not the tail.
The Father doesn't see a corrupted mind—He sees His temple. You're not trying to evict darkness; you're discovering Light already moved in and darkness has to leave.
