Moses murdered an Egyptian in rage, then fled in fear. For 40 years he was a fugitive with a violent past. Yet God called him from a burning bush and transformed him into 'the meekest man on earth' (Numbers 12:3). His temperament was SUPERNATURALLY ALTERED. The murderer became the meekest. God doesn't just manage anger—He REPLACES it with a new nature.
I REFUSE the lie that anger is my family's genetic destiny. IT IS WRITTEN: If anyone is in Christ, he is a NEW CREATION—old things have PASSED AWAY, ALL THINGS have become NEW. I am not defined by my father's temper or my past explosions. I am defined by the SPIRIT OF GOD living in me. IT IS WRITTEN: The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, PATIENCE, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, SELF-CONTROL. That fruit is not something I produce—it's the AUTOMATIC result of abiding in the Vine. I am a branch connected to Jesus. I declare PEACE over my temperament, GENTLENESS over my words, and the MEEKNESS OF MOSES over my family line. The anger stops with ME because the CROSS severed it.
The Father isn't frustrated with your temper or keeping score of your outbursts. He's already placed His SPIRIT inside you—the same Spirit that calmed storms with a word. That nature is YOUR nature now, and transformation isn't about willpower—it's about abiding in Him and letting His nature REPLACE yours without effort.
