"Supernatural healing is fake. Those people are either lying, exaggerating, or experiencing placebo effects."
How it sounds in your head: I've watched those TV preachers knock people over and claim healings. It all looks staged to me. People get caught up in emotion and convince themselves they're healed. Real healing comes from doctors and medicine.
"And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God."
-- Acts 3:7-8Source: Cynicism from religious charlatans and medical establishment replacing faith with skepticism.
He's seen fraudulent healers exposed on TV and knows people who claimed healing but died anyway. His engineering mind needs proof, and medicine has tangible results while faith healing seems emotional manipulation.
Invalid for 38 YEARS, everyone knew him as the paralyzed beggar at the pool. Jesus spoke one command and IMMEDIATELY he picked up his mat and walked - verified healing that caused a public uproar because it happened on Sabbath.
I REFUSE the lie that supernatural healing is fake. IT IS WRITTEN that the lame man IMMEDIATELY received strength and leaped up walking - bones, muscles, nerves that never worked suddenly functioned perfectly. Yes, there are frauds, but frauds exist because the REAL exists. Counterfeit money proves real money exists. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus healed EVERY disease and EVERY sickness among the people, and He hasn't changed. I won't let charlatans rob me of believing for the genuine power of God that still heals bodies TODAY.
The Father isn't offended by your skepticism from being burned - He wants to show you real healing that leaves undeniable evidence, just like He did with the man everyone knew had been lame for 38 years. He proves Himself faithful.
