"Spiritual warfare is dangerous for someone like me who doesn't know what they're doing."
How it sounds in your head: I've heard horror stories about people who dabbled in spiritual warfare and opened doors. What if I say the wrong thing? What if I make it worse? What if I don't close something I opened? This feels like advanced Christianity, and I'm still in beginner's class.
"Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you."
-- Luke 10:19Fear-based teaching elevates enemy's power and creates superstition around using authority Jesus already gave.
She's heard testimonies of spiritual backlash and demonic retaliation. The unknown feels dangerous. Church culture has made spiritual warfare seem like an expert-only domain requiring special protocols.
Jesus sent out seventy unnamed, untrained disciples and they returned with joy saying 'Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name!' They weren't experts—they were simply using the authority He gave them, and it WORKED immediately without backlash.
I REFUSE the lie that spiritual warfare is dangerous for me. IT IS WRITTEN: Jesus gave me authority over ALL the power of the enemy, and NOTHING shall by any means hurt me. I don't fight in my own wisdom or strength—I fight in His finished victory. The enemy is a defeated foe who must FLEE when I resist him in Jesus' name. There are no secret formulas, no expert-only protocols, no special training required. IT IS WRITTEN: At the name of Jesus, every knee must bow—in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. That name is in MY mouth. I am covered by the BARAK blessing, protected by the blood of Jesus, and backed by the armies of Heaven. I am not in danger—the kingdom of darkness is.
The Father isn't waiting for you to become an expert before He protects you—He's already placed a hedge around you that the enemy cannot cross. He's running toward you with the confidence of Heaven saying 'You're My daughter, and Hell trembles when you speak My Son's name.'
