"She has the personality everyone loves; I'm just awkward and too much or not enough"
How it sounds in your head: She lights up the room when she walks in. You clear it. She's effortlessly charming, funny, magnetic. You're the one who says the wrong thing, laughs too loud, or fades into the wallpaper. Your personality is the problem no amount of effort can fix.
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations."
-- Jeremiah 1:5Source: Trauma from rejection and enemy's lie that you were designed wrong, that God made a mistake with your wiring
You've watched rooms respond differently to her versus you for years. Social ease seems like a gift you weren't given, and no amount of trying changes the awkward reality of who you are.
Moses said 'I am slow of speech and slow of tongue' and tried to disqualify himself. God said 'Who made man's mouth? Now go, and I will be with your mouth.' Moses' weakness didn't stop God—he led millions out of Egypt anyway.
I REFUSE the lie that my personality is a design flaw. IT IS WRITTEN that God KNEW me before He formed me and sanctified me—my wiring is INTENTIONAL, not accidental. I am not too much or not enough; I am EXACTLY RIGHT for the assignment God has for me. IT IS WRITTEN in Ephesians 2:10 that I am His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works He prepared beforehand. The BARAK blessing means I am blessed in my going out and coming in—my presence is a BLESSING, not a burden. The Father isn't wishing I had her personality—He's delighted with MINE because He custom-made it.
The Father didn't give you her personality because He wanted YOURS in the earth—your specific laugh, your specific way of seeing things, your specific presence. He's not trying to fix you; He's trying to FREE you to be exactly who He made.
