"Science has disproven the Bible. Evolution, cosmology—it's all incompatible with Genesis."
How it sounds in your head: His biology professor shows elegant evidence for evolution. The Big Bang timeline contradicts six literal days. He feels like he has to choose between scientific literacy and biblical faith, and choosing faith feels like choosing ignorance.
"For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist."
-- Colossians 1:16-17World: false dichotomy that science and Scripture are enemies, when the same God authored both nature and revelation.
Every documentary, every university course, every respected voice in science treats Genesis like a fairy tale. Defending creation feels like defending a flat earth—embarrassing and archaic.
Job questioned God's ways. God responded not with theology but with science: 'Where were you when I laid the earth's foundations? Who marked off its dimensions?' God invited Job into wonder at creation's complexity, and Job's response was worship, not answers.
I REFUSE the lie that science and Scripture are enemies. IT IS WRITTEN: by Jesus all things were created and in Him all things consist—He's holding every atom together right now. The God who designed DNA didn't fumble the creation account. Job questioned, and God answered with the complexity of creation, inviting wonder, not shame. IT IS WRITTEN that the heavens declare the glory of God (Psalm 19:1)—nature is His resume, not His rebuttal. I am Abraham's seed, the BARAK blessing includes supernatural wisdom. I don't have to check my brain at the door—God gave me curiosity to explore His creation. The same Spirit who hovered over the waters in Genesis lives in me and reveals truth both Scripture and science are pointing toward.
The Father who flung stars into space and encoded your DNA isn't threatened by your science questions. He's inviting you to see His fingerprints in both the microscope and the manuscript, authoring a bigger story than either/or allows.
