"Satan has legal right to attack me because of my past sins."
How it sounds in your head: I know what I did before Christ—porn, lying, cheating, using people. Those sins feel like they gave the enemy legal access to my life. My past opened doors I can't close.
"And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross."
-- Colossians 2:13-14Source: Religion teaching ongoing consequences for forgiven sin instead of Christ's complete redemption.
He knows his pre-Christian sin was real and significant. Teaching about 'open doors' and 'generational curses' makes past feel like permanent liability.
Manasseh sacrificed his own sons to demons, practiced witchcraft and sorcery, filled Jerusalem with innocent blood—worst king in Israel's history. When he repented in captivity, God IMMEDIATELY heard, brought him back to Jerusalem, and restored him. No process, no penance, no 'legal rights' retained by demons.
I REFUSE the lie that Satan has legal right to attack me because of my past. IT IS WRITTEN: God has forgiven me ALL trespasses and wiped out every legal requirement against me by nailing it to the cross. ALL means ALL. The enemy has ZERO legal claim on what Jesus PAID FOR. IT IS WRITTEN: There is therefore now NO condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. My past is under the blood—the accuser has no standing, no access, no rights. I am righteous by gift, not by history.
Your Father sees you still punishing yourself for what He's already forgotten. He's running toward you with the destroyed legal documents saying, 'Son, I burned the files. The case is DISMISSED. The enemy is a trespasser, not a creditor.'
