"Rich people are a different breed—I just don't have what they have."
How it sounds in your head: They've got connections, education, confidence, risk tolerance I'll never have. I watch them operate and it's like a different species. I'm wired for survival, not wealth.
"And raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus."
-- Ephesians 2:6World: Creates artificial class divisions that contradict the truth that we're all co-heirs with Christ of immeasurable riches.
He's spent decades in working-class environments where wealth seems like a foreign country with a language he doesn't speak. The gap feels unbridgeable.
Slaves who owned NOTHING for 400 years asked their Egyptian masters for gold and silver. God gave them such favor that Egypt handed over their wealth—generational poverty to generational wealth in one night.
I REFUSE the lie that wealthy people are a different breed. IT IS WRITTEN: I am seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus—I'm not below, I'm ABOVE. I am chosen, royal, a priest unto God. The same God who took SLAVES and made them plunder Egypt in one night lives in me. IT IS WRITTEN: The blessing of the Lord makes rich. Not my background, not my connections, not my education—HIS BLESSING. I am an heir of God and co-heir with Christ of EVERYTHING. The wealth of the wicked is stored up for the righteous, and I am the righteousness of God in Christ.
The Father doesn't see classes or breeds—He sees sons. He's not upgrading you to a better class; He's reminding you that you're ALREADY royalty, already seated with Christ in heavenly places.
