"Real faith would have healed my body by now after all these years"
How it sounds in your head: I've prayed for decades. I've been faithful in church, served, given. If I really believed, this chronic pain would be gone. The faith teachers say we're healed by His stripes—so why am I still suffering at 75?
"And He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
-- 2 Corinthians 12:9Religion made healing a reward for faith performance instead of a finished work already accomplished at the cross.
She's heard 'by His stripes you were healed' preached as a formula—enough faith equals instant healing. Years of unanswered prayer feel like failed faith, especially watching others testify of breakthroughs.
Paul, the apostle who healed entire cities, left his co-worker Trophimus SICK at Miletus. If healing depended on faith levels, Paul had plenty—yet Trophimus remained ill, proving God's timeline and methods aren't bound by our faith formulas.
I REFUSE the lie that my body's condition is a faith report card. IT IS WRITTEN that Paul asked three times and God's answer was 'My grace is sufficient'—not 'try harder.' My righteousness is a GIFT, not earned by healing speed. The BARAK blessing covered Abraham when he lied twice, Isaac when he deceived, Jacob when he stole—it covers me now, regardless of my body's condition. IT IS WRITTEN there is no condemnation for those in Christ. I am loved, complete, and righteous NOW, not when healing manifests. The Father celebrates me today.
The Father isn't withholding healing because your faith is deficient—He's holding you in this season with the same fierce love He had for Paul with his thorn. You are celebrated, not condemned, right now in this body.
