"Real Christians wouldn't have lost money because they'd have heard from God."
How it sounds in your head: If I was really close to God, He would have warned me. I must not be spiritual enough to hear His voice. Other people get divine downloads and I just get silence. I'm a second-class Christian.
"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me."
-- John 10:27Religious elitism: Spiritual maturity measured by supernatural guidance on temporal decisions, hearing God as performance metric.
She's heard testimonies of people who 'felt led' to sell before crashes or buy before surges. Her silence feels like spiritual deafness or God's rejection.
Paul was shipwrecked three times, beaten, imprisoned, and suffered constant hardship. He heard God more clearly than almost anyone—his circumstances didn't reflect spiritual deafness but rather assignment and testing.
I REFUSE the lie that financial loss proves I don't hear God's voice. IT IS WRITTEN that HIS sheep hear His voice, and I am His sheep by BLOOD, not by investment decisions. Hearing God is about RELATIONSHIP, not about receiving stock tips. IT IS WRITTEN in John 6:37, 'The one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.' I'm IN because He DREW me in, and nothing—including a market crash—can snatch me from His hand (John 10:28). Paul heard God and still got shipwrecked THREE TIMES. The BARAK blessing operated on Abraham even when he made BAD decisions twice. My spiritual maturity isn't measured by my portfolio performance but by my position IN CHRIST. I am His BELOVED, and His voice is available in INTIMACY, not just in financial warnings.
Your Father isn't withholding His voice because you're not spiritual enough. He's running toward you whispering that you're HEARD, you're KNOWN, and your value isn't measured by supernatural stock tips—He's always speaking love, and that's the voice that matters most.
