"Other people get miracles but I'm not special enough for one."
How it sounds in your head: I see testimonies all the time—people healed instantly, miracles happening. I'm happy for them, but what about me? Maybe I don't have enough faith. Maybe I'm not spiritual enough. God does miracles for other people, just not me.
"Then Peter opened his mouth and said: 'In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality.'"
-- Acts 10:34Spirit of comparison combined with lie of unworthiness, denying equal access to covenant promises.
Seeing others' breakthroughs while remaining in pain creates false hierarchy of God's favorites. Comparison amplifies feelings of being overlooked or less valued.
Samaritan woman with five failed marriages and currently living with a man—social outcast who came to the well at noon to avoid judgment. Jesus revealed Himself to HER first as Messiah, not to religious leaders, gave her living water, transformed her entire town through her testimony.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm not special enough for a miracle. IT IS WRITTEN that God shows no partiality—He doesn't have favorites and He doesn't grade on a curve. I am the righteousness of God in Christ, not because I'm impressive but because HE is. The woman at the well with five divorces got the revelation of Jesus as Messiah FIRST. The thief on the cross got paradise. IT IS WRITTEN that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved—healed, delivered, made whole. I qualify because I'm IN CHRIST, and the BARAK blessing covers me completely.
The Father isn't scrolling past you to find someone more worthy. You're not in a waiting room earning your turn. He's running toward you RIGHT NOW with the same joy He had for the prodigal—while you still smell like the pig pen, before you finish your apology, ring on your finger and robe on your back.
