"Older men had their chance and blew it. There's no comeback story at that age."
How it sounds in your head: You see men who made mistakes, walked away from God, wasted years on the wrong things. They seem resigned, like 'this is just how it is now.' Society says you get one shot, and if you miss it, you're done.
"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you."
-- Joel 2:25Source: World's one-strike system that contradicts God's nature of redemption, second chances, and sudden restoration.
Culture writes off men who fail—lost their business, got divorced, fell into addiction. The message is: you had your shot, now live with the consequences. No dramatic turnarounds for older guys.
Manasseh was the MOST EVIL king in Judah's history—sacrificed his own sons, filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, led the nation into abominations. In captivity as an old man, he repented. God not only forgave him but RESTORED him to the throne. Worst king to restored king—instant.
I REFUSE the lie that age limits God's restoration power. IT IS WRITTEN that God restores the years the locust has eaten—no wasted decade is beyond His redemption. Every man who's blown it, walked away, or lost years is ONE MOMENT from total turnaround. IT IS WRITTEN that Manasseh—the worst of the worst—repented in old age and was fully restored. God doesn't write off older men; He RESTORES them. The BARAK blessing doesn't expire. I speak RESTORATION, REDEMPTION, and FRESH FIRE over every man who thinks it's too late.
The Father isn't keeping a list of disqualifying failures. He's running toward every prodigal—18 or 80—with the same robe, the same ring, the same 'welcome home, son.' Full restoration. Full inheritance. No probation period.
