"No employer wants a man my age - I'm invisible to recruiters."
How it sounds in your head: They don't even give me courtesy rejections anymore. Applications disappear into algorithms that filter by graduation year. When I do get interviews, I can see it in their eyes - 'he's too old.' I'm applying to positions I'm overqualified for and still getting ignored. I'm invisible.
"I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread."
-- Psalm 37:25Enemy's accusation using world's discrimination to make him feel disqualified and without value.
Ageism is real in hiring, and the silence after applications confirms the fear. Younger candidates do get hired faster, and the statistics back up the discrimination he feels.
At 85, Joshua was still conquering land and leading armies. He said, 'As yet I am as strong this day as on the day that Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war.' God didn't retire him when culture said he should be done - he was taking territory in old age.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm invisible or unwanted. IT IS WRITTEN that God has never forsaken the righteous, even in old age. I am not dependent on recruiters' algorithms or hiring managers' biases. I am a covenant son with supernatural favor that opens doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). The BARAK blessing that made Abraham favored by kings makes me favored by decision-makers. IT IS WRITTEN that even to gray hairs, God carries and delivers me (Isaiah 46:4). I declare divine appointments, supernatural connections, and provision that bypasses normal channels entirely.
The Father isn't waiting for LinkedIn to validate you - He's running toward you with the ring of authority and the robe of honor. While recruiters filter you out, He's orchestrating connections that make their systems irrelevant. You're not invisible; you're being positioned for favor.
