"My value increases when I'm smaller and decreases when I'm bigger."
How it sounds in your head: You've watched the world respond differently to you at different sizes. Compliments flow when you're smaller. Invisibility or judgment when you're bigger. The data feels irrefutable: your size directly correlates to how valuable you are to the people around you.
"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus."
-- Galatians 3:28World system assigning worth to physical space occupied, enemy weaponizing external validation against identity.
She's been complimented for weight loss and met with silence or concern at weight gain. The differential treatment based on size has reinforced this equation thousands of times, making it feel like observable fact rather than lie.
Rahab was a prostitute - considered worthless, unclean, and disposable by society's metrics. Yet God didn't wait for her to transform into someone 'valuable'; He made COVENANT with her IMMEDIATELY, brought her into the Messianic line, and listed her in the Hall of Faith - worth assigned by COVENANT, not by status.
I REFUSE the lie that my value increases or decreases with my size. IT IS WRITTEN that I am ONE in Christ Jesus, and that position doesn't fluctuate with the scale. My righteousness is a GIFT, received by faith, not achieved by measurements. IT IS WRITTEN that I am Abraham's seed by FAITH and heir according to PROMISE - the BARAK blessing is mine by COVENANT, not by size. God made covenant with Rahab the prostitute, David the adulterer, Jacob the deceiver - worth assigned by His CHOICE, not their metrics. I am CHOSEN, BELOVED, and SEALED in Christ at ANY size. The world's value system has NO authority over my identity, which is HIDDEN with Christ in God, unchanging and secure.
Father's delight in you doesn't shift with your size like the world's approval does - He chose you, sealed you, and called you His own based on CHRIST'S worthiness, not your measurements. The price tag is the BLOOD, and that never changes.
