"My stretch marks and body changes make me damaged goods"
How it sounds in your head: I see marks on my body from growing too fast. These scars mean I'm flawed. No one will see past these imperfections. I'm marked as defective.
"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them."
-- Ephesians 2:10Perfection standard replacing God's declaration that His workmanship is flawless
Social media shows airbrushed perfection as normal. Physical evidence of growth feels like permanent damage. He sees marks as disqualifying imperfections instead of natural development.
Jesus' resurrected body still bore scars from crucifixion. He didn't erase them—He invited Thomas to touch them. The marks became proof of identity and victory, not shame or imperfection.
I REFUSE the lie that body marks make me damaged. IT IS WRITTEN that I am God's workmanship, His masterpiece created in Christ Jesus. Every stretch mark tells a story of growth my Father designed. I am under the Abrahamic blessing—blessed in my body, above only and not beneath. IT IS WRITTEN that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. My Father calls me flawless, precious, and honored exactly as I am.
Jesus kept His scars in His resurrected body—they told the story of victory, not damage. Your Father sees your body marks the same way: evidence of growth He authored, not flaws to fix.
