"My story doesn't matter. Nobody cares about my history or experiences."
How it sounds in your head: I've lived ninety-plus years, seen wars, raised families, built careers, survived losses—but when I start to share, eyes drift to phones. My testimony is boring, my memories unimportant. The struggles I overcame mean nothing to this generation. My story dies with me, unheard and uncelebrated.
"Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not forsake me, until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come."
-- Psalm 71:18Culture's amnesia and addiction to novelty dismissing all history as irrelevant backstory.
Grandkids interrupt stories they've heard before, kids change subjects, nobody asks follow-up questions. The rich texture of his life reduced to polite tolerance.
God commanded twelve stones set up specifically so future generations would ASK 'What do these stones mean?' The stones existed to trigger the testimony—God builds monuments to ensure stories get told and retold forever.
I REFUSE the lie that my story doesn't matter or that my testimony is irrelevant. IT IS WRITTEN that God kept me alive to this age specifically to declare His strength to this generation. My experiences are not boring—they are AMMUNITION. IT IS WRITTEN that the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy—my testimony releases prophetic power. I am BARAK-blessed, and my story carries that blessing forward. My memories are monuments God built to teach the next generation. Heaven is recording what earth ignores.
The Father isn't bored by your stories—He's the one whispering 'Tell them again, tell them about the time I came through, they need to hear this, your voice carries My faithfulness.'
