THE LIE Job Loss & Unemployment

"My skills from the 1940s-1960s are completely worthless in today's economy."

How it sounds in your head: Everything I learned is obsolete. No one needs what I know. Technology erased my expertise. I'm a relic. Every skill I mastered is laughably outdated.

IT IS WRITTEN Psalm 92:14

"They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing."

-- Psalm 92:14

Enemy whispers: Your skills are worthless relics. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Psalm 92:14 - 'They shall still bear FRUIT in old age; fresh and flourishing.' God doesn't measure value by technological trends. The wisdom you carry—work ethic, craftsmanship, integrity, perseverance—is RARE treasure employers desperately need. Your skills aren't obsolete; they're ANCIENT PATHS the next generation is starving for. Fresh fruit in old age isn't metaphor—it's PROMISE.

Quick Truth: LIE: Skills obsolete. TRUTH: Fresh fruit in old age guaranteed. Psalm 92:14

WHERE THIS LIE COMES FROM

World system declaring value based on technological relevance instead of covenant inheritance.

Why this feels true:

Every job requires digital skills he never learned. His expertise predates computers, smartphones, internet—entire economic structures didn't exist when he trained.

THE BIBLICAL PRECEDENT Exodus 7:7

Moses

Moses was 80 years old with 40-year-old skills in shepherd work and desert survival when God launched him into confronting Pharaoh and leading millions. His 'outdated' wilderness skills became EXACTLY what Israel needed for 40 years of desert leadership.

YOUR CONFESSION Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that my skills are obsolete. IT IS WRITTEN that I bear FRESH FRUIT in old age, flourishing regardless of technological trends. Moses at 80 had shepherd skills; God made them ESSENTIAL for leading millions. My decades of experience are not relics—they're RARE TREASURE. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed coming in and going out, head and not tail. The BARAK blessing doesn't expire with technology updates. Employers are being drawn to the wisdom I carry.

THE GRACE REVEALED

But God actually:

The Father sees skills the world calls obsolete as ANCIENT TREASURE younger generations are bankrupt without. He's positioning you where grey-haired wisdom is the currency, not a liability—connecting you with those who recognize gold when they see it.
