"My secret disqualifies me from heaven even though I believed in Jesus."
How it sounds in your head: Salvation is by grace, but maybe not for THIS. Maybe this sin is too far. I believe Jesus died, but can He really cover THIS?
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."
-- Ephesians 2:8-9Religious teaching that salvation has fine print—grace for most sins, but some disqualify you.
The sin feels categorically different—sexual, shameful, long-term. Cultural conditioning says some sins cancel salvation despite grace theology.
The thief had no baptism, no church membership, no time to change his life or confess every sin. Just 'remember me.' Jesus said 'TODAY you will be with Me in Paradise'—INSTANT salvation with zero cleanup, zero waiting, zero qualification beyond belief.
I REFUSE the lie that my secret sin disqualifies me from heaven. IT IS WRITTEN: I am saved by GRACE through faith—not of works. The thief on the cross had ZERO time to clean up and Jesus said TODAY you're with Me. IT IS WRITTEN: Nothing can separate me from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Not height, not depth, not angels, not demons—and not THIS. I am under the BARAK blessing that sustained covenant even through Judah's sexual sin. Jesus said IT IS FINISHED—not 'almost finished except for you.' I am SEALED for eternity.
Your Father sees a son struggling with sin, not a sinner disqualified from sonship. The moment you believed, you were SEALED—nothing can break that seal, not even this.
