"My prayers have no power because I don't feel any different when I pray."
How it sounds in your head: Other people talk about 'feeling God's presence' when they pray. I just feel like I'm talking to the ceiling. If I can't feel anything, how do I know my prayers are even reaching God? Maybe my spiritual warfare prayers are just empty words.
"Then the LORD said to me, 'You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it.'"
-- Jeremiah 1:12Source: Religion making spiritual authority dependent on emotional experience rather than covenant promise.
He hears testimonies of people weeping in God's presence, feeling fire, sensing breakthrough. His own prayer time feels mechanical and empty. Emotions don't lie, so if he feels nothing, maybe nothing is happening.
Elijah prayed for rain after three years of drought. He sent his servant to look for clouds SEVEN TIMES and saw nothing—no rain, no clouds, no evidence. On the seventh time, a tiny cloud appeared, and massive rain followed. Elijah kept declaring what God promised despite ZERO evidence for most of his prayer time.
I REFUSE the lie that my prayers are powerless because I don't feel anything. IT IS WRITTEN that God watches over His word to PERFORM it—my feelings don't determine Heaven's response. When I speak Scripture, IT IS WRITTEN that His word will NOT return void but will accomplish what He pleases. I walk by FAITH, not by sight or emotion. The BARAK blessing operates by covenant promise, not by my emotional state—the same blessing that worked for Abraham when he felt afraid works for me. I am heard by the Father, my prayers are powerful, and breakthrough is happening in the unseen realm RIGHT NOW.
The Father doesn't withhold His response until you feel worthy or spiritual enough—He responds because of WHO HE IS, not because of what you feel. The prodigal son received everything before he felt like a son; he felt like a son BECAUSE he received everything.
