"My porn addiction will destroy my future family's purity."
How it sounds in your head: You're terrified that your sexual struggles will poison your marriage and damage your kids. You feel disqualified from leading a pure household when your own mind is a battlefield. What if you can't protect your family from what you couldn't protect yourself from?
"And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God."
-- 1 Corinthians 6:11Religious lie that sexual sin permanently stains and disqualifies from spiritual authority in your home.
The shame cycle feels endless and leaders have told you that you 'lose authority' over areas you struggle with. You wonder how you can teach your kids purity when you've failed so badly.
Rahab was an active prostitute when she helped the spies—literally in sexual sin professionally. God didn't wait for her to 'clean up'—she was immediately brought into Israel, married Salmon, and became part of Jesus' genealogy (Matthew 1:5).
I REFUSE the lie that my sexual past disqualifies me from leading a pure family. IT IS WRITTEN that I WAS washed, sanctified, justified—past tense, DONE. Rahab went from prostitute to Jesus' family line INSTANTLY. IT IS WRITTEN that there is NO condemnation in Christ. My authority doesn't come from my performance but from His blood. I am the righteousness of God in Christ, the head and not the tail. My future family is covered by covenant, not cursed by my history. I lead from GRACE, not guilt.
Your Father sees you as WASHED, not stained—He's already assigned you a family that will see His redemption, not your past. Like Rahab, you're going from shame to the family line of Jesus Himself, and it happens the moment you believe.
