"My passion for my calling intimidates others and I should downplay it."
How it sounds in your head: When you talk about what you're building or called to, people get quiet. Your vision is too big for the room. Friends say 'that's cool' with flat affect. You've learned to minimize what you're actually pursuing because the full truth makes people uncomfortable.
"Then the Lord answered me and said: 'Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.'"
-- Habakkuk 2:2Source: religion - small-vision theology that branded God-sized dreams as pride instead of recognizing prophetic vision.
You've literally lost friendships after sharing what God put in your heart. People distance themselves from your ambition. The pattern proves your vision is indeed too big for human relationship.
Told people the MASSIVE vision to rebuild the entire wall of Jerusalem in a devastated city. Instead of being intimidated, they said 'Let us rise up and build.' Right vision attracts right people IMMEDIATELY.
I REFUSE the lie that my vision intimidates people. IT IS WRITTEN to write the vision and make it PLAIN - God wants it VISIBLE, not hidden. My calling is not too big; it's GOD-SIZED, which means it's exactly right. Those intimidated by my vision aren't my people. IT IS WRITTEN in Ephesians 3:20 that God does EXCEEDING ABUNDANTLY above what I can imagine. The BARAK blessing over Abraham's seed means I am blessed to be a BLESSING - my vision blesses NATIONS. I will not downplay what God wants DISPLAYED.
The Father is running toward you with RESOURCES and REINFORCEMENTS, not asking you to shrink the vision. While small thinkers back away, He's saying 'Actually, think BIGGER - I'm about to blow your mind with what I can do through you.'
