"My parents can't have more kids because they're too old or something's broken"
How it sounds in your head: I hear them crying at night. I see Mom looking sad when she holds babies at church. Dad says 'maybe it's not God's plan' but his voice sounds empty. I feel like I should be enough for them, but I'm not.
"Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son."
-- Genesis 18:14Source: Medical diagnoses spoken as final authority over God's Word, religious acceptance of 'closed wombs' as God's will rather than enemy's work
Doctors gave reports with charts and science that seem more real than invisible God. Years of trying and failing make hope feel stupid and dangerous to believe.
Sarah was 90 years old, decades past menopause, her womb medically dead for years. God visited her and she conceived INSTANTLY, bearing Isaac at 91 - proving age and biology bow to covenant promise.
I REFUSE the lie that any womb in my family is beyond God's power to open. IT IS WRITTEN that nothing is too hard for the LORD. My parents are Abraham's seed through Christ, which means the BARAK blessing of multiplication is on our bloodline. Doctors don't have final authority - Jesus does. IT IS WRITTEN that children are a heritage from the LORD, and He gives to whom He chooses regardless of age or diagnosis. I decree life over every seed, every womb, every hope in Jesus' name. The God who gave Sarah a baby at 90 is still opening wombs TODAY.
The Father isn't waiting for perfect conditions or younger bodies - He's the God who creates life in dead places for fun. He's already prepared the baby, the joy, the testimony - He's just waiting for faith to agree with what He's already decided in heaven.
