"My pain and fatigue are just excuses; I should be able to push through."
How it sounds in your head: Everyone else powers through hard days. Maybe I'm just weak or dramatic. If I had more discipline, I could override this exhaustion. My pain feels invisible, so maybe it's not real enough to limit me. I should just try harder.
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

Her pain doesn't show in photos. Friends don't understand canceling plans again. She's heard 'you don't look sick' so many times she wonders if she's imagining it or being lazy.
Exhausted, depressed, wanted to die, said 'I've had enough.' God's response wasn't 'try harder'—it was SLEEP and FOOD. An angel fed him TWICE, let him sleep, then gave him supernatural strength for 40 days from that one meal. Rest was the remedy, not rebuke.
I REFUSE the lie that my pain and fatigue are weakness. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus INVITES the weary to rest, not to push harder. My body's limits are real, known by the God who formed me. IT IS WRITTEN that He gives power to the weak and increases strength to those with no might—which means weakness qualifies me for His strength. I am blessed coming in and going out, even when 'going out' means staying in to rest. The BARAK includes rest; even God rested on the seventh day. I honor my body as His temple, listening to its signals as His design.
The Father isn't disappointed in your need for rest—He's RUNNING toward you with pillows and blankets, preparing a place for you to lie down in green pastures. He's been protecting your rest, calling it holy, celebrating your wisdom in honoring your limits.
